Returning to Collect Belongings

It may be harder to collect belongings or furniture after you have left.

You can ask the police to accompany you to collect belongings if you are concerned about your safety.

The police are there to prevent a breach of the peace. They won't assist you to carry things from the house, and they probably won't let you take much more than personal belongings (ie clothes, personal items etc).
